The Scrying Glass

There are many realms which exist both Known and Unknown to I and to you. The fantasy to one is the reality to the other. There are many fantasies known in my world, unheard of in yours. Just as there are many fantasies to you, unknown to me.

And yet given all these differences, so much yet remains the same. The need of a peoples to share and transmit data is the very need which brings us this unique ability to share our worlds with one another. You may be from a world where you are reading this on what you know as The Connection, The Internet, or the Mana Ties, all systems used in different worlds I've observed to share and spread information across time and space. In my world, the land of Vondressi, the Scrying Glass is one of our most common means of data dissemination.

How did I acquire this scrying glass that seemingly breaks the barriers between worlds?

Now that is the question indeed. I know not, but perhaps the purpose of this glass shall be revealed with time, to those who have the eyes to see the truth behind the words that cross this mirror/screen/pond/glass.
